The building and facilities are a little old, but what makes this place stand out is the great team of staff. It feels like everyone really cares about the hotel and doing their job well, and you can see this attention to detail everywhere. The breakfast is also a highlight, with some 10-15 meters of fresh food to choose from. It's fantastic value; you could pay 3 or 4 times as much and not get service as good as this.

The room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was wonderfully hot! Staff were very helpful. Enjoyed breakfast. We also had a buffet dinner at the hotel … very reasonable price and food was varied and delicious. (And the restaurant staff were lovely!)

Amanda at reception was very kind and helpful. since I don’t speak Portuguese, she was great at using her English with me. so kind and understanding. location, cleanliness and breakfast were all good too
